One instrument, one story

15 of the 20 cards list gold among their symbols, 8 of them gold alone. A list in which 15 of 20 records include one price is that price seen 15 times, with different entry and exit points. This page counts the symbols exactly as the cards print them, sets the gold cards side by side and keeps the rest in view.

Each symbol is counted as spelled on the card, so "US30" and "US 30" are two rows: the cards print them differently and this site does not merge them. A card with several symbols is counted under each. Read on 6 November 2026.

What the count shows

Gold, XAUUSD, appears on 15 of 20 cards. The next symbol is EURUSD, on 4. Each of the other symbols appears on 3 cards or fewer. 8 cards trade gold alone: The Deep Secret, Diesel, SMART TRADER OM, Rostova, WriggleX5, ProMax, GOLD MARS, iloveyou so much. The other 7 gold cards add one to three other symbols.

Why a shared instrument shares a story

A contract for difference on gold gains or loses with the gold price and with the size and direction of the position. Two records that trade only gold are two sets of positions on the same price, opened and closed at different moments. A fall in that price reaches every long position in it, and a rise reaches every short one. This is a property of the instrument, not a finding about these cards: the cards do not say whether their positions are long or short, which sits in the Performance stats of the strategy page, inside the application.

Same price, different paths

Of the 15 gold cards, 13 ended the window above zero and 2 below. The ends run from -13.66 to +245.28. The same instrument gave different paths on different cards, which is what different entries, sizes and holding times do. For a reader the point is the narrower one: how many different instruments sit behind the records being looked at.

What the platform says about gold cards

cTrader's gold page poses the question itself: "When you copy trade gold (XAUUSD), returns alone aren't enough. Review drawdown, profit factor, trading history and check if the strategy is a real copy gold strategy that actually focuses on XAUUSD." It also tells the reader to open any strategy page and check its Symbols and Volume breakdown sections. Those are the page's own sentences. This site read neither section, which needs the application.

The cards without gold

5 cards do not list gold: Empire Trades (LogicFX), PainGain cTrader (ToTheMoonRobot), ONE 9 (Aliyainvestments), Smartegy Trading (antoninsus21), ONE (Aliyainvestments). Two of them list ten symbols each. The overview help page says a copy is skipped where the investor's broker lacks an instrument the provider trades, and says to check that the provider's symbols are available from the broker; a card with ten symbols has ten chances of that mismatch, and the list does not say which brokers offer which.
